Diversity Through Golf: NOWSI owner and operator of Strawberry Green Golf Driving Range initiative marks a significant milestone in promoting diversity through golf.
Through collaborative efforts with the City of Philadelphia, NOWSI is spearheading golf programs aimed at empowering underserved communities, including at-risk teenage girls, professional women, and boys needing direction under the theme “Put Down the Gun, and Pick Up the Club.” By leveraging the transformative power of golf, this newly 14-year partnership with Philadelphia Park and Recreation aims to break down barriers and create opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds to excel. Together, NOWSI is paving the way for a more inclusive and diverse future in the world of golf. The $150 million dollar project is located at 1500 North 33rd Street (33rd and Oxford Street) in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.
